The results are in: UMARY contains Diclofenac

Health Canada has issued a safety alert for UMARY, details at the link.  As of this writing the FDA has not done so.  Those are the bare facts, now lets dig into the details.

Health Canada has tested UMARY and found that it contains Diclofenac, which many had suspected, as well as Omeprazole, an antacid.  Both of these are prescription medications in the US and Canada.  You can read more about Health Canada has to say about them at the above links.

Interestingly Health Canada does not provide measurement data on the quantity of these substances in UMARY.  So, unlike the absurd claims of the Get Your Drugs Tested lab in Vancouver, which claimed that roughly 40% of the pill was Diclofenac (but they can’t be sure that there was any Diclofenac actually present in the samples!), Health Canada does not give a weight or proportion of the composition of the UMARY pill.  I would very much like to see their results, but those are not provided.  Of course for their purposes, a blanket approval or disapproval of any given medicament, such details are not necessary.

As we watch the Great Umary Panic of 2024 unfold one could be forgiven for thinking that the hidden ingredient Diclofenac was a brand name for Extra Strength Rat Poison.  Diclofenac is a legal drug sold over the counter in Mexico and by prescription in the United States and Canada.  Some people have adverse reactions to it which vary widely in presentation and severity; read what Health Canada has to say about it in the link above.  The reason is Diclofenac is listed as a prescription drug and not as a poison is because it has beneficial effects for most people, mild to moderate side effects for some people and severe adverse effects for a few people.

All medications have beneficial effects for most people, mild to moderate side effects for some people and severe adverse effects for a few people, else they would not be on the market.  Even when a few people have severe reactions to a drug those drugs very often remain on the market.  I will illustrate with a personal anecdote.

During the time of Covid insanity my preferred flu medication, TheraFlu, was unavailable in my area.  So when I got the flu I tried something different, Zicam.  I had a strong negative reaction to Zicam, I got to experience for the first time in my life what asthma feels like.  It was late at night, I could not speak and I was alone (the Ravishing Wife had gone to visit her mother in China in October of 2019 and was not able to return for three and a half years (If you thought our response to Covid was nuts it was far worse over there)).  As my symptoms got worse I began to fear the worst, but was helpless to do anything about it.  Maybe I could have gone to the emergency room, but I had seen too many credible stories of people who had been admitted, diagnosed with Covid, forcibly restrained, treated with Remdesivir (tested against Ebola and discontinued because of severe side effects – massive kidney failure), get intubated and finally provide the hospital with the Covid death benefit from the government.

I recovered, and have sworn off Zicam.  Should Zicam be banned?  I don’t think so, I’m sure its great for some people, just not for me.  Note to people who want to use government force to ban anything that scares them for the good of others: that is not a way to treat adults.

By the way, I recommend that everyone get a family Private Membership Association, keep control of your medical decisions (and other matters) in your hands and those of people who love you.  Don’t let the government touch you or your affairs without your permission.  If you are interested leave a comment; I don’t have a financial interest in any PMA provider, I am just able to furnish information.

With this ban on UMARY in Canada; I’m sure the US will follow suit soon; thousands of people who had previously benefited from UMARY will now be deprived of it.  In so doing Canada has made everybody safe from the potential harmful side effects of UMARY.  It has also guaranteed that thousands will be involuntarily returned to a state of suffering for which Canada can offer no remedy save that of MAID, an increasingly popular solution among the right minded (and suddenly budget minded) bureaucracy.  I consider that to be despicable and immoral.

Here in the US MAID is not yet government policy, but it is most assuredly coming.  My UMARY offerings on Walmart, Ebay and Amazon have already been removed by site administrators.  So far as I know this is the only site where members can obtain UMARY.  I expect that PayPal will curtail my ability to accept membership dues, and thus curtail access to one of the benefits offered, the ability to obtain UMARY.  Were that to happen so many of my friends (I am peculiar, I have always thought of the people whom I serve as “My People”) would be forcibly returned to and locked into their prisons of pain.  The idea is horrifying.

I had previously said that if the presence of Diclofenac in UMARY were ever proved I would remove it from this site.  In view of the above I have changed my mind.  I will continue to accept members through his site and make UMARY available to my friends.  With that said, here is what I’m thinking about the future:

1. Should my payment portal, PayPal, shut me down, I have a backup site ready to go.
2. I continue to search for a viable alternative to UMARY.  I am confident I have something in the works, but it won’t be ready for a while.
3. I am setting up an alternate payment system Karens and the Nanny State cannot touch.

In conclusion I will touch on some fundamental principles that are, in my view, good guides to what action you, dear reader, might choose to take.

• Every body’s body is different and will react to various substances in different ways and to different degrees.
• Every competent adult is responsible for his or her own medical decisions and decisions made on behalf of those who are unable to competently do so for themselves.
• Investigate the facts to your own satisfaction, not everybody has the same standards of proof.
• Consult with your medical professional.
• Government agencies are often not neutral and tend to use a 19th century industrial one-size-fits-all model.
• Pay attention to what your body is telling you in response to what you ingest.
• Recognize that there might be trade offs between pain mitigation and acceptable side effects.
• Use UMARY, or any medicament, only as needed.  If you can get by on half a pill a day, do so.

Above all, do not be afraid.  The Sacred Scriptures repeat this principle 365 times in the text, in one formulation or another.  DO NOT BE AFRAID!  In the last few years we have seen the world panic over what is essentially a nasty respiratory flu.  Yes, people died, as they do every year during flu season.  Far more have died or been injured by the response than would have been the case had it been treated like a normal flu.

But the worst thing is not that people got sick and died, that is normal in this fallen world.  The worst thing is that in this state of panic in response to what is now clearly a manufactured crisis, millions of people surrendered their liberty, their capacity for critical thinking and their relationships with their families, their neighbors and their faith communities in a vain search for the illusion of safety.

It grieves me deeply to see the same thing happening again.

Use your heads, trust in God and DO NOT BE AFRAID!
