On the Solo Vital volutary recall of Umary

By now a ‘way lot of people have heard that Solo Vital has initiated a voluntary recall of Umary.  Walmart has made it a point to pass this along to everybody who has had anything to do with Umary.

SoloVital.com is notifying its customers by email and is arranging for the return of all recalled products. Consumers that have Umary which is being recalled should stop using and return to place of purchase.

Our records indicate you may have purchased this item from a third-party seller on Walmart.com.

I think it is important to unpack this a bit as I see that people are panicking quite unnecessarily.

Full disclosure, I used to sell Umary on the Walmart online platform.  I didn’t sell much as some sellers were able to make a profit at prices that would have been a loss for me.  In the end Walmart kicked me off their platform when the rumors about Umry containing Diclofenac were just beginning to swirl.  that was about a month before the Panic Patrol saddled up  in Canada.  About a month later Amazon did the same.

I discussed the whole Canadian soap opera here and here, and I don’t intend to rehash all of that again, you can go look for yourself if you’re interested.

Some people have concluded that the Solo Vital recall means that Umary is banned.  No word as to who banned it as all the FDA has to say about Umary is that they “are *ADVISING* consumers to not purchase or consume Umary.”  An advisory is not a prohibition.

Here in the USA most folks seem to forget that the government has little power to compel people to either take any given action, or to refrain from doing so, outside of criminal activity and treason, which have become all too common and go unpunished among our self styled “elites.”  We know this because the Covid mask mandates and lockdowns have been shown to unconstitutional, in addition to being ineffective and counter productive, to say nothing about the horrors of the illegal vaxx mandates.

As an aside, I think it strange that Joe Biden is again suffering from Covid, having been vaxxed and boosted with the “safe and effective” jabs multiple times.  Huh!  Who’d ‘a thunk?

This is why Stop My Pain Now / UMARY USA is a Private Membership Association as explained on the landing page of the site.  I don’t market to the public; I don’t market period.  Members of the public come to me, and each one who has purchased Umary has done so a benefit of voluntarily joining the Private Membership Association.  Access to Umary is not the only benefit the Association provides, that is what the occasional informational articles are about.  I would really love to be able to make Bible studies available on Zoom, but I’m not quite ready for that just yet.  What do y’all think?  If I remember I’ll include a survey at the end of this article.

Solo Vital is a private company which is undertaking this recall effort voluntarily.  They seem to specialize in online sales of natural supplements, many from Mexico.  So far as I know there is no government agency compelling them.  So why are they doing it?  I can think of three reasons.

First, as many of you have remarked, Umary has become hard to find, Walmart and Amazon have banned it from their sites.  It is possible that as it hard to find, and there is great wailing and gnashing of teeth about it, that they are making a virtue of necessity.

Second, it is also possible that that they are preempting the possibility of a lawsuit.

Third, it is possible, and likely, that their payment providers have cut them off.  Back in February or thereabouts my payment backbone provider cut off my ability to accept payments because I was selling a product called Kuka Flex Forte on this site which the FDA determined contained the hidden ingredient Diclofenac (sound familiar?).  You might have noted the big red disclaimer that this site no longer offers Kuka Flex.  It was at that time that I restructured Stop My Pain Now / UMARY USA and took it out of the public, making it the Private Membership Association it is today.  I have still not received payment my customers paid for the products I sold.  So I’m betting that their payment providers seized their money for all their sales and now Solo Vital is doing penance to get access to their funds again.

As for Stop My Pain Now / UMARY USA, our payment gateway is still up and running.  I can’t count on that staying that way, and will be implementing a private and secure payment system, hopefully next week.  I am also working on making other products available which will prove beneficial to people with different needs.  More on that as negotiations move into final form.

As always I welcome your thoughts and reply as best I’m able.  Now let’s see if I can get a little survey up.
