Ready. Set. Go!
Your Irascible Correspondent is not a crystal ball reader nor the son of a crystal ball reader, but I’d be willing to lay down a fin buck that we’ll be hearing a lot about horrible diseases in the media starting in the last week of January. Well, yes, it is flu season, so not totally unexpected. But this guy makes it sound like the dogs will be unleashed on January 21.
During the Great Covid Scare of 2020, 2021, people were being so careful to wear masks, and often gloves, because the Covid was everywhere. I was reminded of this yesterday as I was walking to the Post Office and saw a discarded mask on the sidewalk. These discards are not exactly uncommon today, but they were all over the place during the height of ‘pandemic.’
This was one of the big give-aways that the whole thing was a scam. Should not discarded masks and gloves have been properly disposed of as bio hazards? If the virus was as dangerous and as contagious as claimed, then yes, absolutely. But we never heard anything about that in the media. Bupkis. Nada. Total silence. Meanwhile this trash was everywhere with no provision made for proper bio hazard disposal.
Another interesting thing is that the credit card reader number key pads were covered in plastic. Most still are, at least in my neck of the woods. So the idea seems to have been that we are going to protect the public by shielding people’s fingers from touching the the contaminated keys with a layer of plastic, but somehow the plastic will not become infected or allow transmission.
I see that there is a story about a mysterious disease coming out of Africa at Legal Insurrection:
The illness is of unknown origin and has already claimed the lives of 143 people (the majority of who were in their teens).
The last time we check on the status of epidemics in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the country was dealing with a significant outbreak of a virulent strain of monkeypox that is more readily transmissible. at least 18 countries now have reported cases involving this virus, including the US with one case reported in California.
Now a mysterious, flu-like disease has been reported in the Panzi health zone of Kwango province in southwestern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
This unidentified illness has caused significant concern among local and international health authorities, as it is of unknown origin and has already claimed the lives of over 100 people (the majority of who were in their teens).
The health ministry says the majority of people who have died are between the ages of 15 and 18.
More than 300 people have been infected with patients exhibiting symptoms like fever, headaches, runny noses and coughs, breathing difficulties and anaemia.
Response teams have been sent to Kwango Province, specifically the Panzi health zone, where the disease is most common, to manage cases and investigate the nature of the disease.
Cephorien Manzanza, a civil society leader, told Reuters news agency the situation was worrying as the number of infected people continues to rise.
“Panzi is a rural health zone, so there is a problem with the supply of medicines,” he said.
Yes, nasty and sad. Which is nothing new as there is always something nasty and sad coming out of Africa, when its not coming from Wuhan.
I have no doubt that there are powerful elements in the world that are going to try to run another psyop on us again (as if they ever stopped). It is incumbent on us as responsible adults to retain control of our minds and avoid the panic reactions we are being guided toward.
Flu season is on us again, so take normal precautions (take your vitamins, particularly C and D) and we’ll get through this just fine. Do not be afraid.
