Make America Godly Again

I have come to believe that there is no political solution to the evils we face in our nation.  Therefore I have started a new blog, the latest post which you can read here.

There is no hope for America unless the LORD builds it.  MAGA, Make America Great Again, will only ever work if and when we Make America Godly Again.

I have been hesitant to address this issue here for fear of alienating some of my friends who might not see eye to eye with me on politics or religion.  Let me state right now that I have always been an iconoclast, and I don’t put much stock in conventional wisdom, be it the MAGA movement, or the neo-Marxist wokesters.

Christ’s wisdom is supreme and I believe that it is necessary for America to fall on her knees , confess our individual and collective sin, beg forgiveness and rededicate ourselves to believe – and practice! – the Gospel.

Pentecost is coming up on the 8th of June.  Seems like a apposite date on which to beg God to rain down the fire of the Holy Spirit on America that we may rededicate ourselves to loving Him and doing His will.
